How to Configure Stock or Service Items
Welcome to QNE Cloud Accounting! In this tutorial, we’ll walk you through the process of configuring Stock or Service items, which are essential components of your company’s inventory management. Whether you’re dealing with tangible goods like electronics or intangible items like software licenses, QNE makes it simple and efficient.
Let’s start by adding a new stock or service item. In the navigation pane, go to Stock > Stock & Services.

In the Stock & Services List View, click Add.

In the Stock & Services List View, click Add.
Stock/Service # | Enter a unique identifier (maximum of 20 alphanumeric characters). |
Stock/Service Name | Provide the name of the stock or service. |
Category | Select the appropriate category. |
Description | Provide a detailed description. |
Group | Select the type group. |
Class | Choose the appropriate class. |
Stock Control | Indicate if the item is inventoriable. |
Account Preset | Assign the account posting for the item. |
Purchase Price | Enter the purchase price. |
List Price | Enter the list price. |
Min. Price | Enter the minimum price. |

Then, select a compliance under e-Invoice Validation Control field that will ensure that the customer is compliant with e-Invoice requirements. Select also a Classification for your Stock/Service Items.

Under UOM Tab, Identify the Base UOM (Unit of Measurement) then the other larger UOM based on the Rate of your Base UOM.

Once all fields are filled, click Save or Save & Close.
